The Pet Shop Boys will be coming to Liverpool as part of their Dreamworld Greatest Hits Tour 2023. It comes after the iconic duo performed to huge crowds at this year's Glastonbury Festival.
Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe will visit Liverpool, Leeds, London and Aberdeen next June as part of their Greatest Hits Live Tour 2023. The announcement came during their Glastonbury set on The Other Stage, in which they were joined by Olly Alexander, for a performance of their song "Dreamland."
Pet Shop Boys formed in London in 1981, and the duo bonded quickly over a shared love of synthesizers and dance music and formed a band, adopting their moniker in honour of some friends who worked in a pet shop. They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide.
Fans can expect to hear the likes of "It's A Sin", "West End Girls", "You Were Always on My Mind" and "Go West" on their DreamWorld, Pet Shop Boys The Greatest Hits Live. Tickets are available now from Ticketmaster and See Tickets.
DreamWorld, Pet Shop Boys The Greatest Hits Live, will visit Leeds, Liverpool, Aberdeen and London and ticket prices range from £40 to £125, plus booking fees.
Pet Shop Boys UK tour dates
- 17 June – London, Wembley Arena
- 21 June – Aberdeen, P&J Live
- 23 June – Liverpool, M&S Bank Arena
- 24 June – Leeds, First Direct Arena.
The duo confirmed at Glastonbury that their performance will be the "full production" of their Dreamworld festival set, and added "it will include some extra elements and a special guest".
