A 13-year-old girl from Perth who went missing for five days has been found safe and well.
Police launched an urgent search for Ellie Clark after she was last spotted on Tulloch Terrace at roughly 8.15am on Thursday, March 2.
She was last seen dressed in a black jacket, black leggings and black Converse trainers.
Officers believed she may have travelled to the East Kilbride area and reviewed CCTV footage in attempts to find her.
The authorities were “growing increasingly concerned” for her welfare and urged the public in the Perth and East Kildbride areas to come forward with any information.
A direct police appeal was also made to Ellie herself to get in touch.
However, this afternoon a statement was issued from Police Scotland which read: “We can confirm Ellie Clark (13) who had been reported missing in Perth has been traced safe and well.
“Thank you to everyone who helped with our previous appeal.”
