A man was arrested in Perth yesterday following a police stand-off which saw a street closed for around six hours.
Local officers were called to the scene at a block of flats located on Victoria Street following reports of concern for a person just after 9.30am (May 12).
Local officers then taped off the street at both ends as they attended the incident.
At least four police vehicles and medics from the Scottish Ambulance Service were spotted at the scene.
Police Scotland then confirmed that a 26-year-old man was arrested.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to Victoria Street, Perth around 9.40am on Thursday, May 12, 2022 following a report of concern for a person.
"The incident was safely concluded and a 26-year-old man was arrested.
"Enquiries are continuing."
