A person has tragically been struck by a train in the west end of Glasgow this evening.
Emergency crews are currently at the scene with trains on the line between Partick and Hyndland cancelled until around 9.30pm.
The incident happened at around 7.20pm, with rail lines remaining closed.

ScotRail said: "Sadly, a person has been struck by a train between Partick and Hyndland. No trains can run through the area until the emergency services' work is complete."
They later updated passengers, saying: "No services via Glasgow Central Low Level can go further west than Exhibition Centre. Where possible, we'll run our Balloch - Motherwell trains between Balloch & Dalmuir and Exhibition Centre & Motherwell. Update on trains via Queen St Low Level to follow."

It reads: "We are working closely with the emergency services due to an ongoing incident in the Hyndland area."
