A person was injured after they were struck by a train in Dublin on Wednesday afternoon.
The individual was hit by the Irish Rail train at Killester Station shortly after midday.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the person was taken to hospital for treatment.
Irish Rail announced at 12.09pm that services had been suspended through Killester due to a "serious incident".
Services between Raheny and Connolly Station were impacted but these resumed before 1pm.
The rail company said that "knock on delays expected to DART services this afternoon due to this serious incident".
An Irish Rail spokesperson told the Irish Mirror: "A person on the line was struck by a train and injured at Killester Station shortly after 12:00hrs.
"The emergency services have attended, the person has been removed to hospital, and the line has just reopened at 12:50hrs."
