Firefighters were called to a Nottinghamshire power station for a rescue from height. Multiple crews responded to the incident, including the aerial ladder platform from Mansfield, shortly before 11.50am on Thursday, February 9.
Newark, Mansfield and Edwinstowe Fire Stations attended the incident at the Staythorpe Power Station. One individual was rescued by firefighters.
They were left in the care of East Midlands Ambulance Service, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue said. An aerial photo from the scene shows the scale of the incident.

The building is a 1,735 MWe gas-fired power station at Staythorpe, between Southwell and Newark-on-Trent in Nottinghamshire. It is located between the River Trent and Nottingham to Lincoln railway line. Firefighters left the scene at 1pm.
