Authorities in New Albany, Ohio, are actively searching for a person of interest following a tragic shooting incident at a warehouse facility that occurred on Tuesday. The shooting took place at the KDC/One cosmetics facility on Smith’s Mill Road, resulting in one fatality and injuries to five others.
KDC/One is known for manufacturing beauty, personal care, and home care products, as stated on their website. The incident was reported to authorities shortly before 11 p.m., prompting a swift response from law enforcement.
New Albany Police Chief Greg Jones revealed in a news briefing that the shooting appears to have been targeted, and there is currently no indication of an ongoing threat to the public.
