One person was hurt as a fire ripped through a building on an industrial estate.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service received a call at 8.48am on Monday, October 24, following reports of a blaze at a commercial unit in an industrial estate in Ormskirk. Four crews from Fulwood, Tarleton and Leyland, arrived at Dickett's Lane a short time later and found the ground floor of the building well alight.
One casualty, who was suffering from mild smoke inhalation, was treated by firefighters at the scene. It's unclear if the casualty was taken to hospital for further assessment.

Eyewitnesses and people living in the area reported they could see smoke billowing for miles and there was a strong smell of smoke in the area.
A witness who lives nearby on Wigan Road, said: "My wife said she was driving on Lyelake Lane this morning at around nine and had to turn back because the fire service were there. She said the smoke was billowing out from the industrial estate."
Police at the Lyelake Lane junction which is closed off to traffic said it the fire was believed to be on a unit, in the vicinity of a gym in the area.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The fire involves a commercial unit consisting of the ground floor, which is well alight. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using two jets and three hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.
"There are currently road closures in place at the junction of Lyelake Lane, Lathom Road and Dickett’s Lane. Please avoid the area at this time and keep your windows and doors closed if you see or smell smoke.
"One casualty, suffering from mild smoke inhalation, was treated by firefighters."
The road is still closed to cars and Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service are asking people in the area to keep their windows and doors closed.
