Person hit by train between Glasgow Queen Street and Croy as services cancelled

Train services between Glasgow Queen Street and Croy have been cancelled due to an ongoing incident.

ScotRail has confirmed that all lines between both stations have been closed after a person was sadly hit by a train.

The incident is believed to have happened shortly before 7pm on Tuesday evening.

Those travelling on the route have been told to expect cancellations, delays and diversions until at least 9.30pm.

The train provider has said they are looking to a rail replacement but nothing has been confirmed.

Ticket acceptance is in place between Glasgow and Edinburgh on route 900, and also between Glasgow and Stirling via any reasonable route.

Rail replacement buses have also been requested as follows:

Glasgow Queen Street

  • Westway Coaches due at 19:50
  • Swift Coaches due at 19:55
