A PERSON has been hit by a bus near Glasgow's Buchanan Bus Station.
North Hanover Street is currently closed to all traffic between Killermont Street and Cowcaddens Road.
Police Scotland has since revealed that a crash took place at 1.45pm involving a bus and a pedestrian.
999 crews are still at the scene whilst an investigation gets underway.
Diversions are in place.
A person at the scene said: "I think someone's been knocked down. There were police and an ambulance here half an hour ago treating someone.
"I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often in the city centre.
"I don't know what happened tho as it looks like there were two buses there."

A statement from the force read: "North Hanover Street is currently closed between Cowcaddens Road and Killermont Street, following a crash involving a bus and a pedestrian. The incident happened around 1.45pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Emergency services are in attendance and diversions are in place."
A spokesperson for First Bus said: "We can confirm an incident took place on North Hanover Street this afternoon involving one of our buses and a pedestrian.
“Emergency services were called to the scene immediately and we are continuing to work closely with them.
“The thoughts of everyone at First Bus are with all those involved in the incident.”

A Scottish Ambulance Spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1.44pm today to North Hanover Street, Glasgow. We dispatched two ambulances, one trauma team, and a paramedic response unit (PRU) to the scene. One patient was transported to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
