Perrie Edwards shares hair loss fears after birth of son Axel

Perrie Edwards has shared concerns with her fans after noticing something on her hairline.

The Little Mix star is worried her hair could fall out after spotting some growth at the top of her forehead.

The new mum, who gave birth to baby Axel in August 2021, asked her many followers for their advice.

Sharing an update on her Instagram story, Perry explained she'd noticed some baby hairs - hair that grows between your forehead and the edge of your scalp - had appeared.

She said: "I just wanna know, what's with this hair? Now it could be growth from having the baby, but he's nearly five months now.

"So is this all gonna fall out, or is it gonna grow? I don't understand what it is."

Combing through the shorter locks with her fingers, she added: "What is this? It's literally all through my hairline.

"No guys, is this some sort of joke? I mean, I'm blessed that it hasn't all fallen out but what is that?"

The 28-year-old has asked her followers to reply with their advice as to what the hair is and whether it will fall out.

It is common for women to experience hair loss after pregnancy when their oestrogen returns to normal levels.

This can then mean hair grows back in the months that follow, meaning shorter hairs are often visible.
