Perrie Edwards drops biggest hint yet she wants beau Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to propose

Perrie Edwards has dropped her biggest hint yet she wants boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to propose.

The singer, 28, who is touring the UK with Little Mix before their hiatus, said she was "jealous" of two fans who got engaged during their Manchester show on Saturday.

The proposal happened during the band's song Secret Love Song, according to The Sun.

Perrie, who welcomed son Axel with the footballer, also 28, last year, said: "I'm ever so slightly jealous, just saying. Honestly guys, I love love."

Jade Thirlwall added: "What a moment. How am I going to sing now?"

Perrie announced she had welcomed her first child with Alex in August.

She shared the news on Instagram, posting a black and white close-up photo of the baby’s hand on its face, and another of the child’s foot resting on her partner’s hand, writing: “Welcome to the world baby 21/08/21.”

Two weeks later she announced the couple had named the new arrival Axel.

The couple went public with their relationship by going Instagram official with their relationship in 2017 and the star has made no secret of wanting to marry the footballer.

During an appearance on the Capital Breakfast Show with Roman Kemp, she was asked: "If he did pop the question, is it a silly question to ask, would you say yes?"

Perrie jokingly replied: "I have to think about it, I think… No, obviously!", before adding: "But do you know what, I appreciate him, we don’t want to rush into it. But it would be a definitely yes from me, I reckon!"

It comes as the group spoke of their plans to pursue solo careers after the tour ends.

Perrie told The Sun : "We've all said we will let each other know when we’re going to release so we don’t end up clashing in the charts. We’re rooting for each other, not competing against each other."

Leigh-Anne added: "We are so close and that’s the thing. We’re all going to be in communication about this the whole time."

The 30-year-old said that their friendship is too important to jeopardise and they want to ensure that they are not getting in each others' way after they each start their solo career.

Their last concert will be live streamed from the O2 Arena on Saturday May 14 in London around the world, and will be the last opportunity to see the group together before they begin their hiatus.
