Period detached home that's been given an all-white revamp

The ECHO has taken a look inside a double-fronted period property that's been revamped to a high standard with modern finishes.

The house, which has five bedrooms and two bathrooms, is on Clarendon Road in Garston, overlooking Long Lane Recreation Ground. The home ticks many boxes, particularly for the fact it's detached and double fronted, but inside has been done up to an immaculate standard.

Spread over almost 2,000 sq ft, accommodation is set over two floors, with two reception rooms to the front of the house. The interior has been kept neutral and largely white, with a mix of textures and trendy touches such as modern lighting and panelling.

To the rear of the property is a sizeable glossy kitchen and family room. The curved worktops add a futuristic element to the space, along with underlighting and built-in appliances.

Patio doors in the family area, which is equipped with a cosy log burner, lead to the paved garden; a perfect space for al fresco dining. Elsewhere on the ground floor is a utility room complete with WC.

All five bedrooms are upstairs, one of which boasts its own wet room en-suite and another that's been transformed into a dressing room. There are a list of period features on the first floor, including ceiling roses, ornate coving and fireplaces in the bedrooms.

The family bathroom has an opulent standalone bath, a floating vanity cabinet and floor to ceiling tiles.

The house is on the market with Purplebricks for offers in excess of £675,000. The listing said: "This executive property provides excellent living space completed to a high standard with all new quality fitments, original features and tasteful décor throughout."

As well as it's high-end finish and kerb appeal, the property is also a stone's throw from Liverpool South Parkway, providing excellent links to Liverpool and beyond.

Houses on Clarendon Road don't come cheap - they sold for an overall average of £340,000 in the last year.

The figure is a huge 40% higher than the previous 12 months and 20% up on the 2006 peak of £283,000.
