Peppa Pig's 'front face' is what 'nightmares are made of', say terrified fans

Peppa Pig's 'front face' has been met with horror by TV fans as they say it's something that "nightmares are made of".

The popular children's cartoon show, which has been broadcast in 180 locations and in over 40 languages, has only ever shown Peppa side-on, so it's only natural that fans were curious as to what she looked like from the front.

Well thanks to a creative Twitter user, the truth is out and it's pretty much ruined the show.

The illustrator worked out what Peppa would look like when she faced you front-on based on her piggy features and we can only warn you not to show your children.

We wasn't expecting that (Peppa Pig)

The two-legged mutant with four eyes received a flurry of comments from Twitter users who were disturbed by the image.

One said: "The front face of Peppa Pig makes me uncomfortable."

Another said: "I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight."

A third said: "The stuff that nightmares are made of."

And: "Lmao how did she end up gaining two more eyes and nostrils for the front view?" said a fourth.

One person even admitted that they couldn't get it out of their head, as they wrote: "Peppa pig is on in the waiting room we're sitting in, and I can't unsee that left face / front face / right face drawing."

This comes as fans of Netflix's new supernatural horror The haunting of Bly Manor, discovered that the little girl Flora, is the voice of Peppa Pig.

Amelie Bea Smith took over the role of voicing Peppa Pig in January 2020, when she replaced Harley Bird.

And now that viewers have noticed the connection, they can't ignore it.

One shocked viewer wrote: "I was not prepared for the revelation that the creepy little girl in The Haunting of Bly Manor is the voice of Peppa Pig."

And another wrote: "LMAOO Flora from Haunting of Bly Manor is the voice actress for PeppaPig and I can’t unhear it now."
