Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders took his new book 'Intensity' to stores on Monday with a signing at Waterstones.
The 39-year-old spent over three hours, double the time that had been allocated, meeting supporters. Hundreds of fans were in Liverpool One with some queuing as early as 9am.
The book provides insight into Liverpool's hunt for silverware, the club's transfer strategy and the youth focus at Anfield. Only released last Thursday, it is already a best-seller on Amazon.

'Intensity' was serialised exclusively by the Liverpool Echo ahead of its launch, you can read the fascinating excerpts including this one on what the Reds look for when plotting transfers.
Another extract goes in depth on what happened before, during and after the 5-0 win away to Manchester United last season. In addition, this one sees Lijnders open up on the leadership group inside the squad and the role Trent Alexander-Arnold could play in the future.
You can get your very own copy from Waterstones Liverpool plus the official Liverpool FC stores, or you can order online from reachsportshop.com.
Speaking before the release, Lijnders said : “The concept for this all started back in pre-season last summer during our 28-day training camp. When James (Carroll, Liverpool's head of editorial) suggested it as maybe an idea for the future, my immediate reply was: ‘Let’s do it now, why should we wait?’
“And from then on, we were all in. I obviously had no idea how the season would turn out, but whatever happened, I’d committed to this project. As we say, what we do we do 100 per cent at Liverpool FC.
“I decided we would hold nothing back in this book; what you read is what happened as it happened throughout the course of the season. I believe this book is for anybody who loves the game."
