Kolo Toure has praised Pep Guardiola for keeping Erling Haaland 'hungry' amid comparisons to Thierry Henry.
Haaland netted his 46th and 47th goals of the season in Saturday's 3-1 Premier League win over Leicester City, following on from John Stones' brilliant volley. The Norwegian slotted home from the spot after Wilfred Ndidi handled Jack Grealish's cross, before he latched onto Kevin De Bruyne's inch-perfect through ball to dink over Daniel Iversen for his second.
Guardiola decided to bring his striker off at half-time despite being on a hat-trick, with Wednesday's crucial Champions League quarter-final second leg at Bayern Munich in mind. It was not the first time he has made such a decision, with Haaland having now been replaced six times when on a hat-trick and once when on five goals.

Speaking after the final whistle, former City defender Toure compared Haaland to Arsenal legend Henry before praising Guardiola for keeping the striker hungry amid all the goals.
"I would say, for me, when I look at him he is so powerful," Toure told Sky Sports. "Technically he is unbelievable, you can see his feet, so amazing. What he does is when he’s in the box he always gets in the right positions, he is very aggressive in the box, and he makes double movements in his run - he fakes to go back and then he goes in front, he’s very aggressive in the box.
"For me, Thierry Henry has something - and I always talk about Thierry because he was a player who if you had to feed him, he was great, but if he doesn't have the pass, he was able to get the ball, dribble past two or three players, then score - I don’t think Haaland has that. Very rarely you see him get the ball attacking two or three players to go score.
"Pep is a really clever manager, he knows how to get the best from players. Right now he knows Haaland is in top form, he just needs to keep him hungry, but most important for him is making sure he doesn’t get injured because he’s a good player, if he gets an injury it can be damaging for Man City, definitely."
