The Blues welcome the Portuguese champions with a five-goal first-leg cushion after they romped to victory in Portugal last month. Bernardo Silva was the pick of the goalscorers with a brace, including a ferocious half-volley.
Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake were high-profile absentees for the comfortable 4-1 win over rivals Manchester United at the weekend. Oleksandr Zinchenko is likely to be given the nod after captaining the Blues against Peterborough in the FA Cup.
Adding to the selection headache, Kyle Walker will serve his second of a three-match ban while Kevin de Bruyne is a booking away from suspension.
Manchester City flag gesture
The club have made a touching gesture to fans who saw their flags stolen when in Lisbon for the first leg. Around 2500 fans made to trip into Europe but were left "disappointed" after opposition supporters took their match memorabilia.
City approached Kevin Parker and the Official Supporters' Club to see if they could come up with a solution surrounding the lost flags. And the gesture by the club left two supporters "blown away".
