Guardiola says Manchester United are in Premier League title race
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has explained that he is not surprised that Manchester United have returned to form and that he believes they are in the Premier League title race.
United won the Carabao Cup final against City's opponents on Saturday, Newcastle and have only lost on four occasions in all competitions since August. Erik ten Hag's team currently sit third in the Premier League, six points behind City and 11 behind Arsenal.

However, the Reds do have a game in hand over the top two which has led some to ask if they are a serious threat for the title. Speaking to BT Sport before kick-off, Guardiola appeared to confirm that it is a three-horse race for the title.
Martinez loves Manchester United fans' chant for him
Lisandro Martinez has thanked Manchester United fans for their support and how welcome they have made him feel at the club. The Argentine international only joined last summer but has quickly established himself as a fan favourite.
United signed Martinez on a five-year contract, with the option of a further year, after agreeing a deal worth up to £57m with former side Ajax. The 25-year-old has quickly settled into life at Old Trafford and has already established himself as one of the most important players under Erik ten Hag.
United fans not only admire Martinez for his brilliant defensive ability, but also for the passion and pride he brings to his role at the heart of the defence.
