Pep Guardiola has decided he will leave Manchester City in 2025 when his contract expires, according to the Guardian.
Guardiola penned fresh terms last year that will keep him at the Etihad Stadium for another two years and it is claimed that he has all but decided that he will end his time with the Citizens when his current deal is finished. The former Spanish international is said to be interested in the possibility of coaching an international team having previously managed Catalan giants Barcelona and German outfit Bayern Munich.
The 52-year-old has won the Premier League in five of the seven years he has been in England, also clinching two FA Cups, four League Cups and as of last weekend, the UEFA Champions League. City completed the domestic treble by defeating Inter Milan 1-0 in Saturday's final thanks to a second-half finish from Rodri.
It had looked like they wouldn't be able to retain their league title for the majority of the 2022/23 campaign, with Arsenal leading the way before Mikel Arteta's side suffered an end-of-season collapse that coincided with Guardiola's men picking up a near-perfect run of form. Gunners icon Patrick Vieira has since compared the current City team to Arsene Wenger's famous 2003/04 Invincibles side.
"Many people believe Man United’s treble would never be matched but now City are close," Vieira told the Evening Standard last week. "It would be an unbelievable achievement for City just as it was for United, they are up there with the best.

"I think the Invincibles will also one day be matched. City are in the debate [for the greatest English team] with United’s 1999 treble team and my Invincibles."
