Guardiola suggested City's issues in recent disappointments have been more down to conceding rather than scoring goals, but they may have their work cut out against a Bayern side that have conceded only two goals in eight Champions League games to date, including two shutouts against PSG.
Dias sheds light on reunion with Cancelo
Ruben Dias is looking forward to seeing Joao Cancelo even if his friend and teammate will be trying to knock Manchester City out of the Champions League.
Cancelo remains under contract at the Etihad Stadium, but headed to Bayern Munich on loan in January after falling out with with Pep Guardiola over a lack of game-time. Cancelo is free to compete in Europe against his parent club and has already pledged that he will do his best to help deliver for Bayern.
A quirk of the draw means that Cancelo, if picked, will have to try to beat his teammates and friends if he's to succeed, and Dias and Bernardo Silva are among those closest to him in the game. While the trio have been in touch as usual ahead of the game, it will be all business on the pitch.
