Pep Guardiola makes Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest prediction amid Premier League title race

Pep Guardiola has predicted that title rivals Arsenal will win all three of their remaining league games, including a clash against Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal are currently one point behind Man City in the Premier League, but Guardiola’s side have a game in hand over their rivals. The Gunners can go back to the top of the table on Saturday, for a few hours at least, with a win over Brighton and Hove Albion, something which the City boss thinks will happen.

Man City will then look to reclaim top spot when they take on relegation-threatened Everton on Sunday afternoon. It’s a game which Forest fans may be keeping a close eye on.

After the game against the Seagulls, Arsenal travel to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest. The match could be an important one at both ends of the table, with Forest currently above the drop zone by three points.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Everton, Guardiola has backed Mikel Arteta’s team to take maximum points from all of their remaining games. The manager does, however, hope that his prediction is wrong.

“Definitely, they are going to win the three games, so we know what we need to do to win the Premier League,” he said.

“I would like in the games they have against Brighton, Nottingham and Wolves, I would like them to drop points, I’ll be honest. But, I think, they will get nine points.”
