Pep Guardiola was seen deep in heated discussion with Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita after Manchester City dropped two crucial points at Selhurst Park.
The reigning Premier League champions were held to a goalless draw by the Eagles on Monday night despite dominating the ball with 74 per cent of possession in South London.
City mustered 18 shots but just four of these tested Guiata, who played a key role in Palace's clean sheet with his calm decision making as the visitors ramped up the pressure in the second half.
Guardiola was understandably frustrated at the full-time whistle as the stalemate means title rivals Liverpool are just four points behind with a game in hand, namely a clash with Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The Sky Blues boss confronted Guaita as the teams shook hands and was seen gesturing emphatically towards his fellow Spaniard, although the topic of their conversation was not audible.
Despite his animated exchange with the shot-stopper and the disappointing result, Guardiola insisted he was "very pleased" with his side's performance in his post-match interview.
"We play a really good game. In 90 minutes we concede mistakes a little bit, but the way we played was really good," Guardiola told BBC Sport.
"Luck doesn't exist in football. We have to score goals and we didn't do it. We played to score goals and concede few. We struggled a little bit.
"The guys who were playing were playing good, that's why I didn't make changes. We didn't score, that was the mistake.
"The team that was there today was there before and will be there in the next game. I am very pleased with the performance and the way we played."
Even as City turned the screw in search of the opening goal, Guardiola left forwards Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus on the bench.
In contrast, Palace manager Patrick Vieira sent on strikers Jordan Ayew and Odsonne Edouard - and he insists his side could have nabbed all three points.
The Frenchman said: "When you play against City you have to concede chances. It's all about having your luck on the day but also putting in a shift as a team. We did that today. We fought for the luck and we got a point. We're happy with the performance.
"[I was happy with] the way we managed the game. We defended well as a team. At times during the season we've struggled during difficult periods. But today we stuck together.
"We had some chances. It was that kind of feeling you can score one and win the game 1-0. I'm happy with a draw."
