Pep Guardiola admits Manchester City must win the Champions League if his team is to go down as one of the best in history like their big rivals Liverpool and Manchester United.
City today celebrated winning their third Premier League title in a row and their fifth in six years under the Spanish boss. And more trophies could follow as they attempt to become only the second English club side to win the Treble after United.
The Etihad outfit face the Red Devils in their first all-Manchester FA Cup final on June 3 before they attempt to lift the Champions League for the first time in their history one week later on June 10 when they take on Inter Milan in the Istanbul showpiece.

Guardiola has won the Champions League twice before as a manager - both with Barcelona. But he has been unable to win Europe's top club competition since 2012.
And he admits that City have to add the European Cup truly to go down in history like Liverpool, who have won it six times, and United, who have won it on three occasions.
Speaking after City lifted the Premier League title following a 1-0 home win over Chelsea, Guardiola said: "We have to win Europe to be remembered, but I don’t have the feeling just in case we are not able to win it, the Premier League makes sense too.
"Of course as a club you get another level, that’s for sure. You have to admit it. You have to win Europe - Champions League - to be considered one of the best teams like Roy Keane’s Manchester United or Liverpool in that era, but if we won’t win it, Premier League five times - three times-in-a-row - doesn’t make sense? Of course it makes sense. Of course it’s important.
"This club won five in the last six, six in the last 10 and seven in the last 12. So in 12 years we won seven times, this is amazing. Not always with me, with Manuel [Pellegrini], with [Roberto] Mancini, in one decade, so that means this club in the last decade is highest in the table.
"But, everybody knows to be considered one real team, we have to win the Champions League. I’m sorry, but that’s the way it is."
