In Kensington, a three-bed terrace for sale on Sutcliffe Street has been spruced up on the outside with a fresh lick of bright white paint, but also has a fully revamped interior.
Décor has largely been kept neutral in the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home, with splashes of vibrant colour offered from the rich blue sofa and kitchen, and a pop of pink on the dining room chairs.
Upstairs, modern lighting has been installed in each of the bedrooms and the compact monochrome bathroom features a trendy shower screen and black hardware.
The property is on the market with Jones & Chapman for £135,000. While the price tag is well over the 12-month average of £50,000 for the street, in 2021 properties changed hands there for between £67,000 and £229,000.
In Cornett Road in Fazakerley, not far from Walton Vale and Aintree Racecourse, a three-bed terrace has been placed on the market with Purplebricks for £152,000.
Inside, the house is stylish and bright, with an open plan kitchen and dining area that looks like something out of an interiors magazine. Upstairs, the master bedroom features an eye-catching fireplace with green tiles and a modern family bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Outside has also been paid due care and attention; the compact space has been transformed into a functional 'yarden' with a small patio.
In the bustling area of Waterloo near Crosby, a well-kept terrace on Stuart Road has been put up for sale for a hefty £220,000.
The house opens up with splashes of colour, with sage green furniture and purple carpets in the hall. The quirky décor is enhanced by the period features, including brooding Victorian fireplaces and log burners.
The open plan dining area and kitchen is a clash of vibrancy with forest green, deep purple and mustard making way for the black and white kitchen. Outside has also been transformed into a compact space for entertaining.
The property is on the market with Abode. While the price tag is relatively high, it's actually on the cheap side for Waterloo.
In the last year, the overall average in the area was £255,961 a jump of 19% on the previous 12 months. The average on Stuart Road itself for the same period was £199,000.
Another surprising interior lies on Stonedale Crescent in Croxteth. The house boasts four bedrooms and has been revamped with herringbone flooring, modern lighting and mirrored tiles in the kitchen.
The bedrooms are generously sized and the shower room boasts quirky tiles and hardware.
The house is on the market with Red Rooves for offers in the region of £185,000. The overall average price of a house on the street was £99,750 in the last 12 months, 21% higher than the previous year.
