People have been warned to keep their windows and doors closed after a landmark pub went up in flames.
Pictures and video from the scene showed the Old Cobblers pub ablaze in the Lancashire town of Rawtenstall on Sunday night, sending a plume of black smoke into the air.
A team of about 20 firefighters was scrambled to the scene as efforts continued to put out the fire, and residents were urged to keep their windows and doors shut.

One resident , Seb Parkinson, said: "I grew up in this pub and have taken my daughter to it many times. It's usually filled with families on a Sunday. I hope nobody was hurt."
The emergency services were called to the pub on New Hall Hey Road on Sunday night. The road remained cordoned off tonight.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted: "Six fire engines, including one from @manchesterfire, the command support unit, and the aerial ladder platform are in attendance at a commercial building fire on New Hall Hey Road in Rawtenstall.
"There is a large smoke plume, so if you can see or smell smoke, please close your windows and doors. The road is currently closed whilst we deal with this incident, so please avoid the area."
