People are being told to call the police if they see this man, who is wanted on suspicion of rape and assault.
Lancashire Constabulary launched an appeal on Tuesday, May 23, asking the public for help finding a Skelmersdale man, Tanveer Hussain. The 32-year-old, formerly of Castlehey, has links to Longsight in Manchester.
The appeal comes as police investigate rape and assault offences which are said to have taken place in the West Lancashire town. Anyone who sees Hussain is asked to contact the police or Crimestoppers, LancsLive reports.

A police spokesperson said: "We are asking for your help to find Tanveer Hussain who is wanted in connection with offences of rape and section 47 assault in Skelmersdale. Hussain, 32, formerly of Castlehey, Skelmersdale, has links to the Longsight area of Manchester.
"He is 5ft 5, of slim build, with brown eyes, black hair and black facial hair. Any information as to where Hussain might be, ring 101 – quoting log 0123 of May 5, 2023 – or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or email 3706@lancashire.police.uk"
