News that Bounty chocolates will be left out of some Celebrations tubs in the run-up to Christmas has left some people positively bouncing with joy - while others have threatened 'mutiny' over the decision. The revelation was revealed on today's (Nov 3) episode of Good Morning Britain as hosts Ben Shephard and Kate Garraway broke the news to viewers.
The pair informed people watching from home that the makers Mars have chosen to trial new Bounty-less tubs after Bounty chocolates were found to be the least favourite among consumers. In recent research, the company discovered that 40 per cent of consumers think the coconut-filled bars should be removed from tubs permanently.
It follows a Bounty Return Scheme last year, where Bounty haters were able to return their unwanted chocolates and swap them for Maltesers after the Christmas period. Many people rushed to social media to react to the 'joyous' news as plenty believe it is 'the right thing to do'.

Twitter user @DannyDenay posted: "Absolutely the most correct decision of 2022 to banish Bounty from Celebration boxes." However, not everyone was in agreement. Numerous people vented their outrage at Mars' decision to trial Bounty-less tubs for the upcoming festive period.
@BabsRambow tweeted: "If they take away the Bounty I might have to mutiny. #GMB." @Johnycassidy quipped: "When you think 2022 just can't get any worse... Mars Wrigley planning to get rid of Bounty bars from its tubs of Celebrations. They say 39% of people would be happy without them. In other news, 39% of people are total psychopaths."
@_PaulHamilton asked: "It’s the lack of a Bounty in a Celebrations box that’s going to tip this country over the edge, isn’t it?" @Councillorsuzie wrote: "Can’t believe it, @MarsUK are thinking of taking the ‘bounty’ bar out of Celebrations, I love them!"
@Ourrachblogs said: "Good morning to everyone except the person who decided to remove Bounty’s from a tub of Celebrations." A Twitter poll posted by Good Morning Britain asked followers to vote whether they were pro-Bounty or not a fan.
"Mars is to trial No Bounty tubs of Celebrations this Christmas after 40% of consumers felt the fabled ‘taste of paradise’ tasted like hell! Are you happy that Bounty bars could be gone?" It asked. As of time of publication, 31.5 per cent of people voted they didn't like the chocolate. While a whopping 68.5 per cent said they did.
