We all love our pet, but is yours extra-special? Has your dogchanged your life, or do you know a cat whose companionship is helping people in need?
Maybe your beautiful companion has overcome incredible hardship to be by your side. We want to hear all about them as we launch our search for the UK's most brilliant pets.
Nominations are now open for the Mirror People's Pet Awards, with Webbox.

We are looking for dogs, cats and more who have saved lives and changed lives, rescue animals who have overcome impossible odds, and pets you just can't help falling in love with.
And there are also categories for adults and children who make an incredible difference to the lives of animals.
Last year's inspiring winners included Max, a Staffie bred for fighting before being rescued and becoming an ambassador of hope in a bid to break the stigma associated with his breed.
We also honoured Mr London Meow, a hospital therapy cat beloved by patients and medics alike, and support dog Matilda, who formed an amazing bond with a young girl left disabled by a stroke.
And we celebrated the people who helped dogs in crisis, like the tea who went to the rescue of Reggie, a springer spaniel puppy who spent 34 hours stuck in a crevice.
Reggie was on a walk with Leah Davies – the sister of his owner – when he slipped and fell in the Clydach forest, near Swansea, Wales.
Unable to see him, Leah called South Wales Fire and Rescue Service who struggled to reach him. They planned to come back the next day, leaving Reggie alone overnight.
In desperation, Leah took to social media. Drainage engineers Harry Booton and Neil Wilson raced to the scene, bringing a drains camera to find Reggie.
And with help of other volunteers, they were able to lift the little chap to safely.
