The UK is going through Prime Ministers at rapid speed over the last few months as Boris Johnson's resignation was followed swiftly by Liz Truss '. But as No. 10 Downing Street welcomes its third inhabitant in a couple of months there is one other thing people have noticed is also changing outside the famous front door.
On Tuesday it was the turn of Rishi Sunak to take the reign as UK Prime Minister as he won a Conservative party leadership contest which took place at breakneck speed. He has taken over from Liz Truss who has handed her resignation into King Charles III to become the UK's shortest serving PM to date.
Away from all the politics and infighting, many on Twitter have been quick to notice that each of the last four Prime Ministers have stood behind a different lectern as they make their speech to set out their plans and aspirations for their time at Number 10.
Whether the lectern is slick and modern like David Cameron's before he took office, or thin like Theresa May's one, each lectern has something of its own unique touch which is different for each Prime Minister.
Rishi Sunak has given his first speech outside Downing Street, with his lectern being much simpler than Truss' twisty spiral-shaped one that came before.
It is not clear if each PM has much say in what type of lectern they get to stand behind but many have been quick to point out this is something of a strange fact.
One person took to Twitter to point out the different lecterns, writing: "Fun fact - each PM gets their own lectern…What do we think @RishiSunak will look like?"
A lot of people have been quick to respond to this, with someone else saying: "Liz Truss may not have won many things, but she's got the most stylish lectern."
While another person pointed out the stability of each lectern as they said: "Ironically, the one for Liz Truss looked least stable."
A third person has picked a favourite and said that the lectern David Cameron stood behind is the most slick and stylish. They penned: "Cameron's lectern is the nicest in terms of shape, even if the colour is not the most aesthetically pleasing. Truss's lectern is an eyesore."
