Animal lovers have been left in tears after watching two foxes frolicking in a snowy garden in London.
The nocturnal creatures were spotted by a neighbour filming the snow out of her window, and the sweet clip has since been viewed over 100,000 times since it was shared to TikTok.
Posted by @roseannafireman, the adorable video has been dubbed the "cutest scene ever." The short clip shows two foxes venturing out into fresh snow before running around as if they were playing, as they explored their new surroundings.
In the beginning of the video, one of the animals can be seen lying down on a snow-covered roof, before quickly jumping up and shaking its fur.
Later, the pair can be seen chasing each other through the garden, leaving little footprints behind them. At one point, a fox even appears to pause and look up at the videographer, before going on its merry way.
Paired with instrumental music, the video looks like it has come straight out a John Lewis advert, as commenters were quick to point out.
"It's like the John Lewis advert!" said one. Another wrote: "Stop. this is actually one of the cutest things I've ever seen," while a different person replied: "I needed to see a fox playing in snow rn."
Someone else revealed lots of foxes had been playing the snow, before adding: "It was so sweet." "So cute, I saw foxes playing snow around my area too," a second person commented.
Elsewhere, humans have been enjoying the snow too - sometimes to the bafflement of the people around them. Personal trainer Yusef Bouattoura amazed his Instagram followers after her was pictured running through snow, wearing just his shorts and a balaclava.
While his dedication to his training must be praised, it is worth noting experts normally advise layering up during cold weather. After all, nobody wants to feel freezing snow against their skin. Well, perhaps unless you're the fox in the viral clip - though the creature didn't look too impressed after attempting its snow angel.
