An independent computer shop has left locals in stitches with its bizarre royal-themed display, hilariously was set up to mark King Charles' Coronation on May 6.
Milltech Computers in Whitehaven, Cumbria, have set up a homemade dummy of His Majesty, complete with a cardboard mask of his face strapped around the head, as well as a grey wig, a white shirt, red tie, and navy blazer - and replica medals.
The doll is also wearing a red kilt and knee-high socks, and shop staff have placed the dummy on a red and gold throne which has a diamante Union Jack display behind it.
To top it all off, the King Charles doll also has giant white gloves for hands, and there's even a little toy Corgi positioned on a Union Jack cushion, in a sweet nod to the monarch's late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who was fond of the small dogs.
Customer Alan Cleaver spotted the hilarious display while out shopping and shared his findings on social media, where he described it as "tasteful" and "not in the slightest bit scary".
He wrote: "The tasteful coronation display in one of my local shops. And not in the slightest bit scary."
Commenters on the post were also left in stitches over the display, with some insisting that at least the shop staff had "tried" to do something different with their coronation decorations.
One person wrote: "Charles, understandably, looks very distressed."
While another added: "Don't usually use 'Aw Bless' but they have tried, haven't they?"
And a third said: "It's very good."
The computer shop isn't the only place with a questionable royal display either, as Tesco recently left shoppers laughing when they spotted some coronation branding right next to the shelves stocked with sanitary products.
A shopper named June Lewis spotted the hilarious display at her local Tesco, which saw a large sign that reads "Let's celebrate the King's Coronation" next to shelves stocked full of tampons and sanitary pads.
When contacted for comment, a Tesco spokesperson told The Mirror: "We have Coronation signage through our stores. These products are not part of our Coronation range but we do have a great selection of food, drink and homeware for those looking to celebrate, including the Tesco Finest Coronation King Prawn sandwich, Finest Coronation Raspberry and Peach Bellini Trifle, and Coronation teapots, cake stands and mugs."
