People have to pay around 50 per cent more to visit this Odeon cinema than the one down the road

Cinema fans are having to pay significantly more to watch the same film at Odeon in Llanelli than they would at its theatre just 12 miles away. People who visit the cinema's East Gate have spoken of their "disgust" at the prices being charged compared to Swansea in Parc Tawe.

WalesOnline asked Odeon to justify the reason behind the disparity in price, and whether it intended to review the cost of its tickets. But its statement simply read: "At Odeon we offer a range of prices, offers and promotions to ensure value for money and choice for all our guests.”
