People discover 'life-changing' way of eating Mini Eggs and 'won't turn back'

It's only February but Easter classics like Mini Eggs have been on the shelves for weeks already. Cadbury's Mini Eggs are a popular chocolate treat which are covered in a thin, speckled shell, often sold around Easter time.

They've been around since 1967, and many people have their own way of eating them. Whether that be straight from the packet, or as decoration on a cake.

One Mini Egg fan has discovered a brand new way of eating the choccie treat – and many have said they won't be going back to munching them straight from the bag.

Content creator Grace shared a video with her 11k followers which has since gone viral, and now it's been seen by more than 2.9m people.

In the clip, Grace explained that she saw someone microwave Mini Eggs and had to try it out for herself. Now she says it's her "new favourite thing".

Grace pours a packet of Mini Eggs into a heat-proof dish and puts it in the microwave for 50 seconds. She then bites into the chocolate egg and shows off the middle, which has melted and gone gooey.

The TikToker, who was frustrated at the "lack of yellow ones" said she will "never eat them normally again".

Many people were blown away by the simple food hack in the comment section, and were eager to try it out for themselves, with one person saying: "Just tried it and it was so good!"

Another simply said: "Game changer".

A third commented: "And all those years we’ve been eating them raw."

"Why have I never thought of this," asked another.

Many suggested that you can also do the same with Minstrels, which are milk chocolate buttons with a hard, glazed shell from Galaxy.

One person said: "Do Minstrels. It'll change your life – I've got a 900W microwave and do 30 secs .They're perfect."

Another agreed, adding: "I do this with Minstrels."

The Easter chocolate might be out on the shelves already, but some are still getting through their Christmas chocolate.

One man recently shared a 'genius' use of the Terry's chocolate orange packaging. The man, whose name is Neil, showed how he used the plastic bit inside, that many throw in the bin, to create a stand for the snack.

He simply folds either sides of the plastic, and pops the orange on top so people can help themselves.
