A brand new broadband package is being offered to people who claim certain Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) benefits.
Last week, Virgin Media cut the price of its social tariff broadband package in response to the ongoing cost of living crisis. The Daily Record reports that this package is aimed at those receiving Universal Credit, and will cost just £12.50 monthly for new and existing customers.
The deal, which offers 15Mbps, is joined by a new speed tier that will offer faster 50Mbps for £20 a month instead, according to Virgin Media. Both plans have no fixed-term contract or activation fee.
