People are only just realising how to peel an orange and say their 'whole life is a lie'

Peeling an orange is pretty irritating - by the time you've got the task done you might not fancy the fruit anyway, so any hack to speed up the process is most welcome. Thankfully, one TikToker has delivered just that.

Kev, aka @Kevglbach, replied to a video of another creator showing their hack for easily peeling an orange, and then showed himself trying it out to see whether it actually worked. His reaction was priceless when it actually turned out to be a much more efficient way to peel the fruity snack.

In the original video, the man can be seen cutting the orange in half whilst he says 'and then you can just take it and pop it out like this'. He then pops the orange out in the opposite direction and the fruit is then in segments, which are ready to peel off the skin and are ready to eat.

This method is much easier than trying to peel the whole thing before you tuck into your afternoon snack.

Kev then demonstrates the hack for himself, looking pretty impressed that it actually worked.

In the comments, people were equally as shocked that they hadn't realised this was a method that could be used.

One wrote: "Why is there literally a better way to do every single thing and we're just finding out about it?", followed by a crying with laughter face.

Someone joked: "I'm so done with Tik Tok, just once I'd wish I could go a day without finding out I been doing life wrong."

"Are you kidding me? All these years I struggled for nothing?", another fumed.

"I've been peeling it the wrong way this whole time", one TikToker realised.

"Gamechanger", someone gushed, whilst another raged: "My whole life is a lie."

Would you cut an orange using this method? Let us know in the comments.
