A dark rumor has surfaced that rising UK rapper Aitch has been shot but his rep has confirmed to the Evening Standard that the reports are "100% False."
Earlier today, online rumors surfaced that the rapper was dead, despite the 19-year-old consistently updating his Instagram stories. He has more than 900,000 followers
Aitch previously worked with Ed Sheeran and Stormzy on the remix 'Take Me Back to London.' He's amassed a whole slew of celebrity fans, including Robbie Williams, who recorded himself lip-syncing to his single 'Taste (Make It Shake'). The teen rapper rose to fame after uploading freestyles on YouTube.
Aitch, born Harrison Armstrong, is originally from Manchester. He told Capital Xtra that he chose his stage name because "My real name begins with the letter H, so I’ve been called ‘H’ from time, but because I’m from there everyone says it like ‘aitch’ so I just spelled it like that."
He's currently preparing to tour the UK in September to promote his debut EP AitcH20 which will be released on September 6.
