An elderly man was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Newcastle.
The pedestrian, who is in his 80s, and the vehicle collided on Chatsworth Gardens in Westerhope just before noon on Saturday.
The man was taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. He was transported by ambulance to the Royal Victoria Infirmary (RVI).

A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) said: "We were called to Chatsworth Gardens, Westerhope at 11:58 on Saturday to a person who had been hit by a car.
"We dispatched a double crewed ambulance and a crew from our specialist moving and handling team to ensure the patent was safely moved onto the ambulance. We transported one patient to Royal Victoria Infirmary."
Northumbria Police is carrying out enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the collision. They said that the driver of the car remained at the scene.
A spokesperson for the force said: "At 12.15pm on Saturday (January 28) we received a report of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Chatsworth Road, Westerhope.
"Emergency services attended the scene and the pedestrian – a man in his 80s – was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
"The driver remained at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the collision."
