A pensioner has been found dead at a property in Glasgow this afternoon.
Police were called to Glenavon Road in the north of the city at around 12.30pm to reports of the sudden death of a 68-year-old woman.
It has been reported on social media there was a high police presence on the street. Police have since confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A Police Scotland spokesperson told Glasgow Live: “We were made aware of the sudden death of a 68-year-old woman within a property at Glenavon Road in Glasgow shortly after 12.30pm on Tuesday, 3 January.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances.”
