A 90-year-old woman has died in a horror crash on the A815 near Dunoon.
We previously told how emergency services raced to the scene at around 3.55pm on Tuesday June 14 following a collision involving a silver Toyota Yaris, a cyclist and a pedestrian.
The woman, who was the passenger of the Toyota Yaris, was taken to hospital but tragically passed away from her injuries on Friday, June 17.
The 67-year-old male cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 63-year-old female pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow with serious injuries.
Her current condition is not yet known.
The female driver of the car was taken to Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley as a precaution.
The road was closed for around five hours whilst investigations were carried out and re-opened around 8.50pm.
Officers have confirmed enquiries into the incident are ongoing, and have appealed for anyone with any information on the smash to come forward.
Sergeant Hugh Niccolls of Dumbarton Road Policing Unit said : “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who died yesterday evening (Friday, 17 June, 2022) in hospital.
“Our investigations are continuing and anyone who witnessed the crash, should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2204 of 14 June.”
