McCormick criticized Casey, labeling him as a 'career politician' and suggesting that Casey has changed over his three decades in office, emphasizing his independence from former President Donald Trump.
Casey, in response, raised concerns about McCormick's residency, citing an Associated Press report alleging that McCormick had been living in Connecticut rather than Pennsylvania. Casey accused McCormick of dishonesty regarding his place of residence, stating, 'the biggest lie told in this whole election was the lie when my opponent said he lived in Pennsylvania, when he was living in Connecticut.'
McCormick defended himself by asserting that he has spent the 'majority of my life' in Pennsylvania, seeking to clarify the situation.
