These states, labeled as 'toss up' by Cook Political Report's Electoral College ratings, include Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
Among these states, Pennsylvania stands out as the most pivotal battleground. With the largest number of electoral votes among the seven, Pennsylvania has become a focal point for both campaigns. In the 2016 election, Trump narrowly won the state by 1 percentage point, only to lose it by the same margin in 2020.
Following closely behind Pennsylvania in significance are Georgia and North Carolina, each carrying 16 electoral votes. North Carolina, in particular, has not voted for a Democratic president since 2008, making it a key target for both parties.
