Penneys' Late Late Toy Show collection returns with pyjama sets, cosy socks and snuddies

Penneys has announced that their iconic Late Late Toy Show collection will return to shelves next week.

The fashion retailer has joined forces with RTE for the past eight years to create special Late Late Toy Show pyjamas, socks, shirts and other accessories. This year's range goes on sale on Monday, October 10 while stocks last.

As part of the partnership, Penneys will donate €100,000 to the RTE Toy Show Appeal to support children's charities and causes around Ireland, as well as €20,000 to Children's Health Foundation to support sick children and their families in Children's Health Ireland at Crumlin, Temple Street, Tallaght and Connolly. A special delivery of The Late Late Toy Show collection will be sent to children spending the night of the Toy Show in Children’s Health Ireland hospitals and urgent care centres.

This year's collection has something for everyone, including the RTE Late Late Toy Show owl pyjamas for adults (€15) and children (€12) and a baby sleepsuit (€11). There will also be fleece snuddies for adults (€21) and kids (€19) on sale as well as a pet bow tie and bandana set (€5) and pet toy (€4.50) so the family's furry friends can get involved.

The range also features Late Late Toy Show cosy socks for adults (€6) and kids (€5) and a Letter to Santa kit (€3), ready to jot down ideas for Santa Claus. Damien O’Neill, Head of Penneys Ireland and Northern Ireland said the company is "proud to support" both the RTE Toy Show Appeal and Children's Health Foundation.

He said: "The RTÉ Late Late Toy Show is one of the most magical nights of the year for families across Ireland and we are delighted to partner with RTÉ to launch this year’s range, including the highly anticipated pyjama sets. This is the eighth year of our partnership and we’re proud to be supporting both the RTÉ Toy Show Appeal and Children’s Health Foundation this year with our biggest ever donation of €120,000, helping children and families nationwide.

"We understand that there are kids who will not be at home to watch the show due to illness and we want to bring some festive joy to CHI hospitals by delivering pjs and other products from our range so they can be a part of this special night.”
