Peggy Gou oozes cool as she unveils stylish global partnership in London

Global DJ and fashion icon Peggy Gou has teamed up with tequila brand Don Julio 1942 to create a limited-edition collector’s bottle – and kicked off the partnership in true style with a starry launch in East London on Tuesday night.

The exclusive party, held at designer concept store LN-CC, marked the start of the global campaign for Don Julio 194구, the brand’s first-ever worldwide collaboration bottle.

The launch event included a live Q&A with the producer herself, and fans had the chance to purchase the bottle and have it personally signed by the artist.

The limited-edition bottle – a bold take on the classic Don Julio 1942 – has been designed to reflect Peggy’s distinctive style, fusing luxury fashion with street culture.

Inspired by her Korean heritage and love of fashion and art, the bottle features mint-green and deep purple tones, a chrome cap, and a holographic “194구” label.

Gou’s signature tattoos and passion for nail art are echoed in the design on the outside of the box, while the inside features a personal note from her, sharing the inspiration and creative journey behind the collaboration.

“When it comes to design, balance is so important,” said Peggy Gou. “Sometimes less is more. Sometimes more is more. I wanted to create a bottle that stops you in your tracks the moment you see it.

The partnership came together organically, according to Don Julio’s Global Director of Culture, Jamie Hakim, who praised Peggy’s “impeccable sense of style and design.”
