I know I say this every week, but I truly think it’s fair to say that the latest Married At First Sight (MAFS) dinner party was the most dramatic one yet. Although it didn’t have as much screaming as last week did, this time around we saw the strongest couples of the experiment crumble under the pressure of the couple swap challenge, resulting in some stern words, hurt feelings and one particularly remarkable change of heart.
Even before our brides and grooms took their seats at the dinner party table, relationships were unravelling. However, the biggest shock at the table was the sudden change in Jamie Marinos and Dave Hand‘s relationship.
Throughout the experiment, they’d been the golden couple, but now, Dave seemed to lose all interest in his blonde bride, shocking the other contestants.

Meanwhile, Carina Miribile and Paul Antoine‘s relationship has soured since she found out that Paul thinks she’s a bit of a snob. And, after a comment Carina made about Awhina Rutene‘s twin sister Cleo, she’s got some apologising to do.
As for Jacqui Burfood and Ryan Donnoley? Don’t worry, they don’t stay out of the drama this week either.
Although we write about MAFS all the live long day, the PEDESTRIAN.TV team still spend a ridiculous amount of time yapping about MAFS plotlines.
So, instead of simply gossiping (and writing many articles) about it, our MAFS experts — Rebekah Manibog and Laura Masia — decided to watch it along with you this season.
From the most outrageous statements to the moments that make us truly believe in love, we’re here with you to break it down with a new episode of PEDESTRIAN vs MAFS each week.
