Pedestrian taken to hospital after crash closed stretch of A52 in Nottinghamshire

A pedestrian was taken to hospital after being hit by a car. Police were called to the incident in Toton Lane, near Stapleford, at around 7.50pm on Wednesday (March 8).

The eastbound stretch of the A52 was subsequently closed between the B6003 for Stapleford and the A6007 for the Bramcote Island.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "A woman, aged in her 30s, suffered injuries which are not currently believed to be life-threatening and was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment. The road was closed for around 40 minutes and we would like to thank motorists for their patience and cooperation."
