A woman was rushed to hospital after being struck by a car on a Glasgow street earlier today. The collision involving the pedestrian and vehicle happened on Hyndland Street in the west end, at around 12.05pm.
Paramedics and police rushed to the scene and a woman was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Her condition is currently unknown.
The street was closed for some time, but Glasgow Live reports it has since re-opened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called around 12.05pm to a report of a pedestrian being hit by a car on Hyndland Street, Glasgow on Thursday, August 4, 2022.
“The woman has been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
