A woman has died after being hit by a car on the Hume Highway near Goulburn in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The 32-year-old was allegedly hit by a 63-year-old man driving a four-wheel-drive about 4am on the Hume Highway, near Boxers Creek Road.
Police had been told the woman was on the road at the time of the collision.
The car was travelling northbound when the incident occurred on Thursday, November 14, 2024.
The woman was treated at the scene and taken to Goulburn hospital where she died.
The driver was also taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Police established a crime scene, and an investigation has commenced with the assistance of specialist officers from the crash investigation unit.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
The northbound traffic on the Hume was reduced to one lane for a number of hours as police combed the scene.
