A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on a slip road to the M1 in northwest London on Tuesday evening.,
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene close to the Junction 3 southbound slip road on the M1 about 7pm.
The southbound road was closed between J4 and J1 for Wednesday’s morning rush hour as police carried out investigations.
There have been no arrests.
A spokesperson for National Highways added: “The M1 south is closed between J4 Edgware and J1 at the A406 North Circular due to a police-led incident. Met Police are on the scene.”
The fatal collision came just before a driver was killed smashing into a wall in Paddington.
