However, this open air bar in Atlanta, Georgia, was reportedly speeding as it approached an intersection, and failed to negotiate the corner and rolled over, injuring 15 people.
The crash took place at roughly 6.30pm in the city’s downtown area, according to CBS 46.
Authorities said they believe the open-air bar was trying to turn when it rolled over and crashed.
Two people were left critically injured, with three others sustaining “serious injuries”, and ten people suffered minor injuries according to Atlanta Fire and Rescue.
Officials have admitted they do not know how many people were onboard the moving boozy bar at the time of the accident.
Firefighters were forced to use an ambulance bus, something usually saved for mass-casualty events, to transport ten of the injured to local hospitals.
Battalion Chief Jason McLain said: “The Atlanta Fire Rescue Department has a mobile ambulance we call it MAV-1 … we utilised that to transport 10 and Grady facilitated the transportation of the other 5 patients.”
The intersection was also shut down in the aftermath of the crash as officials tended to those who were injured before they were taken off to four separate hospitals.
No other vehicles were involved in the accident, which remains under investigation.
One witness told Fox5Atlanta that members of the public rushed to the aid of those involved in the crash, righting the bus and helping people from underneath it.
She told the outlet: “I ran out on the balcony and saw it flipped over to the side.
"And immediately the public came running out of their cars to take it back up, and saving people who were lying underneath because I think they were stuck.
“People were clearly hurt but the public I was so impressed they just intervened so quickly, I saw this man on the street redirecting traffic away from the crash. It was amazing.”
Images from the scene show the chaos and destruction with debris from the crash scattered across the street and the orange bus righted by the roadside.
