PDC World Darts Championship prize money: How much does the winner earn from final?

Michael Smith and Peter Wright lock horns in the 2022 PDC World Darts Championship final on Monday night.

Englishman Smith secured a convincing 6-3 win over James Wade in the semi-finals on Sunday night while Wright defeated fellow Scot Gary Anderson 6-4 to book his place in the final.

Both will be vying to take home the Sid Waddell trophy, with the winner of the showpiece final at Alexandra Palace also set to pocket a remarkable £500,000 in prize money.

The loser of the contest in London will earn £200,000.

Welshman Gerwyn Price won £50,000 for reaching the quarter-finals, while Jonny Clayton earned £35,000 as a result of his progress into the fourth round.

PDC World Darts Championship prize money in full

A total of £2.5million of prize money is paid out in total.

  • Winner - £500,000
  • Runner-up - £200,000
  • Semi-final - £100,000
  • Quarter-final - £50,000
  • Fourth round - £35,000
  • Third round - £25,000
  • Second round - £15,000
  • First round - £7,500
